Park Update – 27/01/2025
Glenveagh National Park will reopen on a phased basis from tomorrow 28th Jan 2025.
On Tuesday 28th January the main car park, Visitor Centre and Lough Insagh trail will reopen fully.
The lakeside walk will reopen from the Visitor centre as far as the lower garden gate but the Gardens, Castle, view point trail and Derrylaghan trail remain closed. Furthermore, the Glen trail is open from the head of the Glen, Glendown as far the upper garden gate, but there is no through access via the garden or castle to the Visitor centre/main car park.
As clean-up operation progresses we aim to fully reopen over coming days.
