Due to the ongoing Orange Weather Alert issued by Met Eireann for low temperatures and ice, Connemara National Park will remained closed until 12 noon on Thursday 9th January. Lower and Upper Diamond Hill trails will remain closed during this time.

A Status Orange low temperature/ice warning has been issued by Met Éireann and will be in place for the Connacht area, valid from 20.00 Tuesday 07/01/2025 until 10.00 Wednesday 08/01/2025.
