Free Shuttle Bus Service Expanded for 2025 Season

This summer season the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), Burren National Park, is delighted to be partnering with Clare County Council to launch a new, extended, hop-on hop-off shuttle bus service linking towns, villages and visitor attractions throughout North and West Clare.
The free and bookable ‘Burren and Cliffs Explorer’ will operate as a pilot project from May 1st to August 31st this year with the potential to extend into September.
Shuttle buses will serve Corofin, Ballyvaughan, Carron, Kilfenora, Doolin, Liscannor and Lahinch, as well as the hub locations of Lisdoonvarna and Miltown Malbay, where free car parking will be provided.
The scheduled service will also serve landmark attractions such as the Burren National Park and the Cliffs of Moher Experience.
The annual free shuttle service will run between the Burren National Park Information Point in Corofin to the Burren National Park trailhead at Gortlecka, and a new route will also run from the Information Point in Corofin to the trailhead at Slieve Carran, serving Carron village and Kilfenora, where it will link with other routes.
Timetable and more details to follow.
