Puffin Rock Habitats Exhibition Comes to Donegal!
Glenveagh are delighted to be the first National Park in Ireland to host the Puffin Rock Habitats exhibition on its all-Island tour from November 2024 to the end of January 2025.
The Puffin Rock Habitats exhibition is based on Cartoon Saloon’s much loved Puffin Rock series and is an educational partnership with the Heritage Council and Cartoon Saloon, funded through the Creative Ireland Programme.
The exhibit celebrates and promotes awareness of Irish habitats through engaging and interactive displays and hands on activity. Children visiting will also receive a copy of beautifully illustrated workbook.
In collaboration with the Heritage Council, Sea Collective and kindly supported by Donegal County Council, we will also be delivering a limited number of special workshops to some of the schools in the communities adjacent to the National Park. Relevant schools will be contacted.
The exhibition will open on 11th November and be available to the public weekly from Saturdays to Tuesdays 9.30AM – 4:00PM.
Additional schools will be able to book self-guided slots on Wednesdays. More details will follow soon about this.
