Upcoming events at the park this August,
We have a wide range of events for all the family to enjoy this August at the National Park.
Starting this bank holiday weekend,
All-day self-guided “Find Bernie the Bat Treasure hunt”, Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th,
Tuesday 6th at 7pm,
Home to Ballycroy event, From the Church to the Chapel, followed by some light refreshments and an open mic back at the Ballycroy Visitor Centre.
Kids Clubs Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2pm
6th Our Blanket Bogs,
8th wildflowers and seed collecting,
13th Animals of the Park,
15th Wildflowers of the Bog,
20th Life in our Bog Pools,
22nd Our Native Trees,
Sunday 11th at 11 a.m. Jamesie Well Guided Walk, starting point Srahrevagh Carpark.
Heritage Week,
Saturday 17th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Postcard Making Work Shop, at the Ballycroy Visitor Centre
Sunday 18th Celebrating our Natural Heritage, 11.30am-2pm Guided walk and activities at the Ballycroy Visitor Centre
Monday 19th at 7pm Dancing at the Crossroads, with Boxty at the Bothy in Letterkeen,
Sunday 25th Celebrating old connections, Short hike along the Bangor trail followed by fun song and craic at Bangor Erris.
