Killarney National Parks Service Conservation Rangers Sam Bailey and Jess Burkett have set up a ‘duck trap’ for a new study of Killarney National Park water birds. The study will enable the Rangers to monitor the population and play close attention to their habitat and trends in breeding and behaviour over the winter months.

Well the good news is their first duck paid a visit (Lucky Duck) and was treated with the utmost kindness and care.
