Wild Nephin National Park

Free guided walks in Wild Nephin National Park at locations in Ballycroy and Letterkeen this December.

Walks will take place at the Ballycroy Visitor Centre (2km) at 11am and at Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail (2km) at 1pm, on Saturday 3^rd, 10^th and 17^th.

On Sundays 4^th 11^th and 18^th walks will take place at Letterkeen with the 5km Bothy Loop starting at 10.30am and the 2.5km Vary’s Loop starting at 2pm.

As usual guided walks are free of charge and all are welcome.

We recommend boots for the coastal trail as this walk will incorporate stony shoreline. You will need hiking boots for the Bothy Walk, which follows a track on open hillside and along river bank.

There will be weekly night walks for those interested in a dark sky experience. These walks will start at 8pm on each Friday up until December 16^th. On December 2^nd the walk will take place at the Ballycroy Visitor Centre and on December 9^th and 16^th the walks will be held in Letterkeen.
